Standard Contest Rules & Regulations

 

This document outlines the general terms and conditions for contests, draws, and raffles conducted by simplemortgages Canada. By participating in any such event, all entrants agree to be bound by these rules.

 

1. Eligibility

This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of simplemortgages Canada, Referral Mortgages Inc., and any participating partners, including their immediate family members and those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate. simplemortgages Canada and Referral Mortgages Inc., along with any other sponsoring partners or associated businesses, are not liable for any claims, damages, or injuries arising from participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize.

 

2. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. To enter, participants must complete and submit an official entry ballot provided at designated events or locations. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified. Entries must comply with all instructions provided at the time of the event.

 

3. The Prize

The prize to be awarded will be described at the time of the event and may vary for each contest. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash value. simplemortgages Canada reserves the right to substitute the prize with an item of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes and any costs associated with the prize not explicitly stated as included.

 

4. Winner Notification

A random draw will take place following the conclusion of the entry period. The selected entrant will be notified by email within seven business days of the draw. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question without any mechanical or other assistance. If the selected entrant cannot be contacted or fails to respond within a specified time frame, or fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question, their entry will be void and a new entrant may be selected.

 

5. Use of Personal Information

By entering this contest, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by simplemortgages Canada and any co-sponsoring partners. This information will be used for the purposes of administering the contest and awarding the prize. Additionally, you consent to being contacted by phone, email, or other means for future follow-up conversations, sales and marketing purposes, and inclusion in newsletters for simplemortgages Canada and any other business entities involved in the prize draw. You can opt-out of these communications at any time.

 

6. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules. All decisions made by simplemortgages Canada are final and binding. simplemortgages Canada and its partners are not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, or modify the contest, in whole or in part, if any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these rules. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
